Do you know of any car that gets good gas milage, isnt expensive, and looks nice? I havn't given up on my CL, just curious to see whats out there.

Toyota ECHO 42MPg on highway, and about $15K

 

Gets 650 miles to the tank of gas... around 45+ mpg.

Sure... isn't luxurious, but then again I wouldn't get caught dead in an echo!

The Echo has to be the most god-awefull car ever made (well, that Aztech is up there too!)

Every time I see an Echo, I do this:

 

I'm getting like 35mpg with my '01 CLP, 80% highway doing 75-80, 20% city.

I could probably reach 38-40 max on a long distance trip.

 

Yea the echo's instrumentation is located near the center of the dashboard instead of the left hand side where it belongs, lol.
Makes you wana steer to the right all the time

that echo shit is whack!!! The rear of the car looks like its lifted!! hahaha... sorry I keep laughing thinking about the speedometer/odometer being in the center of the car!! LOL I think the car would make a great car for student drivers so the instructor could see the speed easier but other than that... just not practical. I would sue toyota for neck problems from checking my speed in the center...

a Geo Prism isn't bad looking, gets good gas mileage and is real cheap at about $5,000 for a slightly used one...

 

what about the civic hybrid?
