i ordered my headers on the 4th..and i've yet to hear a word from ssautochrome..i've e-mailed them 2x and I haven't gotten a reply yet..whats going on? I'm not feelin to good about this purchace right now...I hate these types of companies that don't give you any info..this is probably going to be my last time shopping with a online company without a 800 number that works atleast 8 hrs a day..anyone have any info on how else i can contact these people since they don't respond to e-mails?

They have been pretty good to me. They always answer quickly.

 

i e-mailed them twice to that e-mail address...and i forwarded the one i sent them yesterday again today..but i didn't get a reply..yesterday or today...so i'm kinda worried..

 

Hmm..is it your email acct has problem? They very quick in response...at least with me. I ordered the header, 5 mins later, got an email, emailed him back next day asking for tracking #, 15 mins later, boom..it's there. Ordered the intake, next day, confirm order reply.
BTW, I paid $61 for the intake shipped...was a little disappointed with the OBX cold air intake. OBX website claimed that their intake has the bracket welded in like AEM. However, the kit I received, bracket was not welded in..instead, just two pieces of steel..what the hell am i going to do with the two pieces of steel?? Anyways, managed to get it installed and fabricated my own bracket to hold the intake firmly..but that's a lot of hassel. I even emailed SSautochrome asking if it is the obx intake with such specific OBX model #, they said yes but when I got the intake, part # was diff. Oh well, i guess can't ask too much for $61 intake but kind of disappointed of the misleading sales.

I had no problem either... in fact.. the headers came in two days!! Ordered on a Thurs... got them Sat. FedEx. I would definitely call them. Pick up a phone instead of replying on email.... they are very helpful....

 

I e-mail them a few times this week and did not get a reply. Thus, this morning at 6:30 a.m., I found my headers lying in front of my doorstep.

hey how many O rings am i supposed to get? 2? and what other parts are supposed to come wit it?

Any tips on what i should do before i have the headers installed? like inspect the inside or sand some on the inside to make it smoother or something?

I just placed an order for the obx header through them. 2 hours later i had the invoice emailed to me and the ship dates. They were pretty fast for me. Also they answered back my emails regarding extra information about the headers.

 

You need 3. Either reuse one of the old ones, or buy a new one. They go between your "A" pipe and cat (1), between your "A" pipe and front header (1), and between your "A" pipe and rear header. It is very clear where they go. You should have also recieved 2 other gaskets, big grey ones with three big holes. I hope you can fiqure out where these go.

The service was great to me, ordered on a wednesday they came on monday. They also answered all of my emails.
