Which would u choose: LD1s or Model 5s?

I am having a difficult time trying to decide on which 19X8 wheel I should get - please give your opinions.

a) Lowenhart LD1 chrome 19X8 (+50) with Nitto 555 (225/35/19)

or

b) Advan Model 5 bronze 19X8 (+45) with Toyo T1S (235/35/19)

ld 1s are sweet and would probably look pretty good on a tl, i think they look better on a bigger car or suv, id go with the advans if it was my choice

why would you be getting 225's? Go for 235's. Also, stick with T1-S for both, the Nitto's suck.

Because both sets of wheels are used.

Given the choice, I'd take advans anyday.

Yes, they are B.R.O.N.Z.E. and yes it's a done deal!

The LD1s came in a +51 offset which is perfect for the TL - no rubbing. The tires in this package would have been 225/35/19 Nitto 555 which would be about the same height as the stock 17s.

The Advan's are +45 so I'll have shave the rear fender tab. Not the best off set, but it'll do! This pack. comes with Toyo T1S in 235/35/19 which is slightly taller than the stock 17s and will fill in my wheel gap nicely!

i guess you dont remember the pic of the white tls on 19'' ld1s. g/damn it was nice. i am just not feeling bronze wheels.

i'm sure you could have got the ld1s with a 235. i wouldnt want a 225 either.

good luck with your 19''s

I agree dbox, the white w/ LD1's belongs to Streeteffectz's, I think. I would have prefered the LD1's if it wasn't for the following...

The LD1's are used with 2 minor scuffs (but still in good cond.), 2nd owner, no receipt, in Virginia, 75-80% tread left, shipping cost, duties/taxes, 225 tires.

The Advan's are 2 months old, 99% tread left, receipt, and in Canada - so I don't have to pay duties/taxes.

By the time I factor in currency conversion, duties/taxes, etc., the Advans is a better deal.

Unfortunately, my TLS is WDP as well...

I asked him last year if he wanted to sell his rollers...

I forgot to add...I have some ghost flames going on the hood soon.......J/K!

I would have prefered the wheels to be in the silver finish, but the wheels came off a yellow IS300.
