noramale wear and tear, not covered. remind you It cost $560 for a factory replacement.
I have the same damn problem, I drive on 20 miles corridor that is be widened to 3 lanes and the project will last for 4 years... Rt-3, MA. I had to replace windshield....
I planning on geting windshield polish compound and do the buffing myself.... The flying rocks just keep hiting my windshield

You should check with your car insurance company. My buddie's 330ci windshield got hit with a rock, and he was responsible for the deductible. They (State Farm) took care of the rest.

Insurance item. Check your policy. In FL if you need to replace a windshield it's free with the insurance. No out of pocket, & it doesn't go against you. I think it's one of those FL laws. ALso if you insurance has glass coverage you would be covered too.

As much as I feel your pain, I doubt there is much Acura will do for you. Rocks hitting windshields are a part of life. Trust me, I know living in the Chicago area.
Good luck, and let me know what you find out.

Just because you have a $500.00 deductible, don't assume that applies to everything! I have that deductible, too, but my co-pay on a new windshield is $50.00. (thats all). Call and find out.

I had a cracked windshield from a rock and the insurance covered every bit. All I had to pay was the $50 comprehensive deductable. A while back I was gonna raise it to $100 but the insurance would only have been 10 dollars cheaper a year! Well worth it IMO...

I can get a new windshield every 6 weeks if I have to. No charge, no increase in insurance.
In state like MN where they use salt on the road, after several years you can see out the windshield because it is full of shiny stars and glimmers from all the etching and scraping. You almost needed a new windshield every other year.
