Why Main'tReq light blinks when u start the car?

press the 2 buttons on the dash(the ones that reset the trip). while the car is off press them both then turn the key to the on position(dont start it), u will then see the maint. light flash once then go away. make sure to keep your fingers on both the whole time. i think this happens every 7500 miles
