Why do I have to always make myself look so dumb

On this forum I happen to see Interior Lighting as a popular subject. Can someone explain what they mean? Are they just taking the bulbs out from the rear lights and road lamp light inside the car and replacing them with stronger lights? Are you adding more interior lighting? Can someone please send me a pic with a car with Interior lighting and suggestions on what bulbs to use for what. Thanks

The bulbs that light up the cabin of your car. chanigng them to aftermarket bulbs seems to be a popular thing to do.

Thanx Dbox. Last question for now is how to remove the covers of all the interior lighting and the reverse lights and turning signal lights and replace them with the bulbs. Any step by step DIY info that I can look at. Thanks

u will see a spot on all interior covers were u can GENTLY lift em off. u will need a sharp object(small ass screwdriver). i didnt do my turn signals but, reverse lights are simple. unscrew the circular hooks in your trunk(the things that the cargo net attaches to) then pull back the trunk lining and there ya go. i hear u shouldnt touch the bulbs so wear some gloves. its very easy. u will love the new look. sooooooooooo much nicer on the inside

Try it once without clean latex gloves.. then after that bulb burns out in about a week, do it the right way with the gloves..

natural oil from ur hands will cause bulbs to burn out prematurely

the interior bulbs should last about the same as stock ones

I don't replace my light bulbs unless they are burnt out. I really see no need to. I hate blue bulbs anyway. I think they should be banned. Nothing but an annoyance.

How in the hell are they gonna ban their use as "maplights," and why would you waist the time to put such nonsense a law into place... not like theses any other real crimes going on out there
