Who upgraded the dome light yet??
I bought the Piaa 19223 which are much smaller than the stock dome lightbulb. Personally I don't think it was that bright and since the bulb is smaller it must of moved around and next thing I notice I smell burning plastic. Yep the bulb was touching the plastic in the middle and started to burn it luckily I caught it before any real damage.
Does anybody know an exact replacement brighter dome lightbulb that I can try.

I installed polarg's in my dome light, there are 3 sizes of that type of bulb though. So my guess is you guys bought the 2nd size.
The size i bought fits snug and doesn't sit between the contacts.
I'll try to find out what the number is on it if i can.

I used the Eurolite P/N 3022 12V/10W bulb, no burning - but I had to pinch the metal tabs a bit to make the bulb fit. Seems to working for over a year now.

I got the Piaa bulb in my dome and it too sits between the contacts. I thought it was the wrong size but left it in the until I got another one (the correct size). It hasn't moved since I put it in (June 2002) so I left it alone.

Brightness
But out of all the bulbs which one do you guys thing is the brightest... cause we all know they fit you just have to pinch it a little... But I want to know which bulbs are the brightest ones... Piaa or Porlargs? Plus I usually change the Dome light (since the dome light is the only light that comes on when u open your door and the door lights on the sides.) but for the map lights I leave it because they seem brighter then any aftermarket bulb
