im starting to think that the HKS isnt loud enough for my taste. seeing as my system is almost always loud i cant even slightly hear my exhuast. i dont want rice but definitely something a little more agressive. i think universals would be the perfect solution. i know you people are out there. i jus wanna know what you got and what you think about your mufflers.

 

Do a Search on "ansa" Couple weeks ago, a guy put Dual Pipe Ansas on each side.

It looked pretty good, can't speak for the sound or what if any was had in Gains.

hmmm ... my system is loud and I can't hear my exhaust ... my exhaust is loud and now I can't hear my system ... my system is loud and I can't hear my exhaust ..... where will the insanity end!
appears to me that your looking for a solution with no solution. if you want to hear your exhaust, turn down the audio.

 

I have the HKS exhaust and have found it to be just right. I have yet to add an intake, which I understand is something that will increase ultimate "sound" both upfront and in the rear of the car. Do you have an intake yet?
I am positive that when my system is complete I will not hear any of the exhaust sounds, however I am positive that the people outside will hear both the sytem and the music. SO really, why spend more money just to hear an exhaust of a car??? Get a honda CBR 600F4...then you can hear exhaust.

take your resonator out.......that'll definitely help out and yes an intake would also help out!

I have some universals, but the sound is not much different from the HKS (just a little quieter). I used to have the HKS & Comptech so I know the difference between both of them. I got rid of the Comptech (before the quiet tip inserts came out) because of the droning at crusing speeds & I got rid of the HKS because they were too loud (how ironic). The ones I have now are not too loud at cruising speeds & get really aggressive at WOT. The only problem is I can't tell you who makes them or where you can buy them because I got them used from a friend of mine & he does not remember. Sorry, I guess this doesn't really help you, huh Oh well here's some pictures...

i just had magnaflow universals put in today the mufflers are six inch round stainless mufflers i kept the stock tips
i put some pics up when i get a chance
