Wow so an 04 TL can out handle a GTI or Golf or what whatever VW that other guy was driving. Learn something new everyday.

i have an 03 cl-s auto with an icebox and my buddy has an 04 tl auto stock, and we have ran it a few times, and were about dead even every time. i think it would be a drivers race.

From everything i've read from credible sources, its very close each time. Sometimes someone will win by a bit, but thats probably due to someone having heavy wheels, engine not broken in etc.

its all dependable upon the driver...there are many shitty drivers...I've heard stories of a VW BUG takin on CLS's and Mustang GT's..haha you hear everything...just depends on the driver mostly..

driver dependent.

but there is no way in hell a TL can outhandle a GTI/Golf in the curves, I've been on numerous VW runs in the canyons of So. Cal and you'd be amazed at the look on some car owners who think they can just push that "damn VW."
