I did stereo installs before. Put 2 full systems in my other cars and did my friend's. But with an aftermarket stereo it's simple... you got your pre-outs that you run to the amp and that's it (well.... besides all other stuff). I wanna add a sub to my stock system without upgrading anything else. I know there are inputs for preouts and there are other inputs for speaker wires (whatever they're called). I've never used them before. How's the quality of sound that comes out of an amp from those inputs? And in the 01 CLS, should I just hook up the amp parallel to one of the rear speakers? Anyone did anything like that?
