Where the hell did the water come from!!!

Got in my car this morning and it had water in my drivers side door handle. It had rained last night but no windows open and door was shut im almost positive. No clue where it came from because there was no water anywhere else.???????

First time? When you get home run a hose around the door. I've read a few cases of the seal around the door failing. But is was a reoccurring problem. You have to figure out if it's reoccurring or not.

Do what Fuzzy said. Check to see if any of the rubber seal was off the track some how.

or it might have been somthing so simple as a piece of pinestraw in between the door and the car that didn't let the gasket seal right.

After washing a car when you roll down your windows and then back up the rubber seal that's pressing against the window is still wet which is normal. What I normally do after washing a car is to let the window stay up for about half an hour and the water is gone. Other than that you could always wipe it dry.

Try checking the windshield seals.......after that check the sunroof gutters cause that could have been clogged up as well. If your going to ask how to check it get a water gallon bottle and open your sunroof look at the corners and you'll see it. Believe me my car was having water coming in like no tomorrow. I even went to my first meet showing people that I have a water problem which then was fixed after the Stealership drop my windshield.
