Ohhhhhhhhh! No one but Shawn knows how much I want that thing. I should have my car paid off by spring. I wonder how much cash it would take to get into the 6 speed if I sold this one and used the proceeds as a down payment. I guess I could get a small loan for maybe 2 years. But I want to buy a house too. My logical side says cars are a terrible investment and I should forget the 6 speed. My left leg says otherwise.

my ex's dad works for acura. He said the 6 speed is gonna be on sale in feb. At least thats what they told him. Him and a few of the salesmen he works with is gonna order some as soon as it comes avaible.

 

Any possibilities for a tranny swap? PLEASE!

 

The general feeling on tranny swaps is that it would be cheaper to just trade your whole car. Unless you have your own shop and can do all the work for free. In addition to the transmission itself, you'd have to deal with the computer, finding a way to install a clutch, relocate the parking brake, etc. Lots of work.

 

I just read that today too. I think it's weak how they didn't mention the CL comes in a Type S variant but they mention it for the TL. WTF is that?
