Where do I hook up the V-AFC II?

I'm in the process of trying to hook up the V-AFC II to the ECU/PCM (same thing, right?).

I found a control module in the passenger seat footwell area, but it's the VSA unit. ECU/PCM, as far as I know, is located behind the center console where the audio controls are. How do I get to it? I need to splice the wires.

Thanks much for the help. My car is torn apart right now (both front seats out, half the center console taken out, etc, etc.) and I'm desperate since it's already midnight here.

It's in the passenger side footwell on the left. It's a silver box with 4 wire harnesses coming from it.

Splicing into the factory harness = warranty

Everything's set up and VTEC is set at 5000 RPM from Low to High; 4800 from High to Low.

There's a big lag at about 4000-4500 RPM (random, but happens every time) when flooring in first gear. I don't know what it could be.

Probably timing retard... your ECU doesn't like the V-AFC. You need to have it dyno tuned.

Any other way to fix it besides dyno-tuning? I'm gonna get it dyno-tuned in the next couple of weeks, but for the time being, it's annoying.

Did you check to see if your bypass valve actuator is working?

Oh, I forgot to tell this story.

We reversed the pressure sensor wire direction by mistake, but we didn't realize it 'til later. Consequently, the results were hilarious because I would press down on the gas pedal and the car wouldn't go anywhere, then as soon as I let go, the RPM would jump. It was fun. Constant negative pressure reading should've been a hint, so we were stupid, and it was 6 in the morning.

As for the lag, I think the PCM just had to relearn some shit. It's gone now. The only gripe is that from first to second upshift, it shifts at about 6400-6500 RPM which pisses me off, but it had been doing that since months ago after a trip to the dealership for brake work (I think they reprogrammed by PCM without telling me.).

Highly doubtful they even have the technology in house to do that.
