How do mudflaps look on a black CLS and do they work well?

My CLS. Always gets really dirty on the sides of the car. I have been thinking about getting a set of the black mudflaps to somewhat correct the issue. How do they look on a black car? Anyone have any pictures of them on a black (nighthawk black pearl) CLS??

I have a CLS NBP with mud guards. Looking at the car, you can't really notice them. I'm sure they are doing their job because the sides don't get that dirty at all. However, I would have to compare it to a CL without mud guards.

I have em on my anthracite, they pretty much match body color. The back ones are not mounted flush and look bad. I've had the dealer fix em but they still don't look right.
I guess it's too complicated for their mechanics. I wonder if they are the right ones, don't seem to fit flush. I guess they keep the car cleaner, and they aren't really that noticeable on my dark car. 'Splash guards' came stock on my Legends.

I had them on my NBP CL 6sp and when I traded in my non-navi for the navi one. The new car didn't have them on, it made the car look "naked" so I had the dealer put my old mudflaps on my new car. I guess its what you get used to. I do think they help stop lots of stone chips, tar etc from hitting the car. Granted they don't stop everything but every little bit helps.

my 2 cents.

I have a black CL with mudflaps, PM me if you still need pics. As far as the look goes, they look good on a black CL. It makes the car look semi-lowered.

I still get water on the sides of my car, but not as much as before. Also, I dont get anymore mud and tar on the sides of the rear bumper (which was impossible to clean off).

Since the mudflaps are black I'd say they should look pretty invisible to the passing eye. They definitely help keep the side & back of the car cleaner. Also, I'm sure they save the rear bumper from rock chips.
