What will you be driving?

I see mostly everybody on this forum as an enthusist and in my experience, car guys stay car guys for life. I know I will. I can see us as the old guys hanging out in a lot full of shiny cars talkin' bout' past and present performance. I'll probably have my CL for 20 years and make my kid drive it to school and tell him how cool of a car it was back in 2001 For myself I'll be at the lot in a NSX for sure. When I see you at the lot what will you be driving?

20 years from now .. who knows what kinda cars they will have. or are we making the assumption that there is a freeze on automobile production and technology and we have the same set of cars then as we do today ? ... then I can see myself in a E55 .. or a bulletproof BMW M5 or 8series whatever that drooalicious model is.

Most likely I be rolling in a Jetsons space car in 20 years. Most likely I be having a Benz S600 or an BMW M7.

IMO I don't thinl our cars will last 20 years, unless it was garaged and only driven in sunshine on weekends on California roads. They don't make cars like they used to. i think our parts are made to break down so we spend money after only a few years..10 tops.

Buick Park Avenue... When I have a family their safety comes first. Build quality be damned, I want something big! That way when one of those punks in their little RSX cuts me off and I 'forget' to hit the brake...
Hmm... RSX vs. Park Ave... I wonder who will win in a collision...

I will probably have a Z06 Corvette for the weekend trips to the golf course where I will have a Benz golf cart. I will be driving a Hummer to work, just try to cut me off in this bad boy . I will get my wife a Caddy Esclade for her and the kids. Nothing better than ridin in style.
