Honda has their own Power Steering Fluid. Use Honda Power Steering Fluid only. Using other brands can cause increased wear and poor steering in cold weather.

Its like saying the honda oil filter is specially designed for our cars
Honda/Acura is right but........
You don't have to use Honda/Acura Brand. Just make sure its for Honda/Acura. The power steering fluid should be clear. Regular power steering fluid will mess up your pump, i've seen it before.
Just goto your parts store and get powersteering fluid for honda/acura

Acura/Honda power steering fluid year
I understand that I am only to use Honda/Acura power steering fluid, but I am curious what the year difference is all about.
I bought Honda fluid and then read the back (before adding it) and it says that it's specifically made for Honda's up to 2006. Well mine is a different year, so I haven't used it.
I am curious as to why this is. Did they do something different before 2007? I thought it was all supposed to be good, didn't realize there were years to watch for.
TIA

Never heard of that. Do you have a picture of the label you are referring to?
I checked the label on the Honda PS fluid bottle in my garage and it looks exactly like the one, front / back, on the link below.

That's aftermarket power steering fluid '...formulated to meet the service requirements' as it states.
Genuine Honda power steering fluid is shown in the Amazon link I provided and has no year limits.
