2007 Acura TL Type S Power Steering Fluid

I just bought a 2007 Acura TL Type S with a little over 53k miles about 2 weeks ago. I have been checking and replacing fluids and noticed the power steering reservoir was over filled so I took a bulb syringe and sucked some excess fluid out. When I did this I noticed the fluid was light brown in color. Do you normally flush/replace power steering fluid? I am under the impression the fluid should be more clear in color. Thanks for your help!

just a reminder, the power steering pump can eat seals. so, if you find that there is air in the system or steering is pretty stiff, replace inner seals to the power steering pump!

Light brown is the clean broken in color. Black or dark brown is when you should hurry.

Hey! Just as an FYI, if you didn't already know. 2007 Acura TL Type-S were recalled because of an issue with the power steering.

I had to take mine in to get fixed. Not sure if this is related to the issue you're having, but still good information.
