Hey guys,

I have a TL(acura-tl.com is down for now), anyway above the driver's side front wheel well i notice a "squeaky sound" when i press down on the panel. It also makes this noise when i go over bumps and what not. What could this be? Shocks? Rack and Pinion? Any opinions is greatly appreciated!

 

Common problem, happened to me and dozen others on this forum. Do a search on "wheel squeaking". They will first lubricate ball joints, and then will replace the whole bearing ( have no idea what it means), but it fixes the problem. See a dealer.

I think they can do it while they change your oil!

 

Yeah, if your car is under warranty they will fix it for you. Don't settle for "lube ball joint", it only temporary fix.... ask them to replace the bearing...

 

I have the same squeak and its driving me nuts.....I have to go get it fixed

 

I have this problem as well, although it comes and goes as the weather changes. Its funny how it always happens when I'm not at the dealer...and never does when I am. Anyone have a specific part name other than a just a "bearing"? I'd like to be prepared in advance.
