What are new 6 speeds going for?

Hi everyone! I'm new to the board and looking to buy a six speed with navi in Cali (preferably Sacramento area). Can anyone tell me what people are really paying for these cars currently? I have seen several six speed models at my local dealers as well as MANY automatic models, so they don't appear to be moving very fast. Also, how much have the automatics (CLS-navi) been going for? Thanks!

I got mine about 3 weeks after they came out and paid MSRP, but now you may be able to get a little off, but its tough to get them to budge on the 6 speed.

Hey, welcome to the board. Where in Sacramento are you located? We have a group of CL owners here who meet regularly. Check the link my sig for info

I'm sure you'll get a few responses from the folks who have recently purchased a 6 speed. I'll bet you can work Niello and/or Lasher for a good price.

Good luck and happy buying!

Well, from my search, around here, 6 spd with Navi is kinda hard to come across. Especially in the color I want, Anthracite.. but the dealer seemed flexible with the price.

Welcome from another Sato. dude. Niello is where i bought mine, you should be able to deal on the 5AT, possibly the 6MT as well. Go on the internet and get the invoice price and work from there. Good luck, after you buy, join us at one of our local meets.

I saw a non-navi going for 30,310 IIRC. Maybe it was 31,300. I don't remember.

Good luck in your search. I was at Pleasanton Acura just last week and they had a black 6 speed just off the truck!!!!! Had ALL the plastic still on it!!!! Inside and out. I think it was the NAVI, I saw a bunch of 03's with the on star nipple on the top and I am pretty sure it had it too.

If you get the car, you definately need to hook up with us at a Sacto meet!!! Looking foward to meeting you and your car!!!

I got 500 off msrp right when they came available. You should do a little better now. Good luck.

Thanks for the replies everyone!I have started the process through internet quotes and I plan on hitting some sacto dealers this weekend. One thing I noticed today that is kind of strange is that there are NO Acura dealer adds in the Sacramento Bee today.
I am really hoping to get as close to invoice as possible since CL sales have been slow to the point where even American Honda has been concerned. We shall see.
I live in Davis, so I can easily go to the Bay Area or anywhere in Cali if I can save enough.

I got $1,000 off MSRP and only paid $350 for the spoiler so that equates to over $1000 off MSRP and I had the first one.

If the dealers won't drop much off the sticker, just hold out a few months.......

They'll be GIVING them away.

When the new 2001 CL came out in March of 2000, most dealership were selling at or near sticker.

6 months later you could buy a CL at close to invoice price.

Expect the same thing with the new 6-speed CL.

I doubt that with the 6 speed. It is in limited prodution!!!! I thought there were only gonna be like 2000 or so. Out of about 12000 - 15000 CL's for 2003. I think the dealers know this and are gonna take advantage.

I might be wrong, but GOOD LUCK with your search!!!

Thanks for clearing that up!!!! So about 3% of the CL's for 03 will be 6 speeds. I think this proves my point about the dealers taking advantage. BASTARDS!!!!!!!
