its not a joke...amirs super charger is... but RES is real, its been on three different members cars, and has been dynoed twice...im sure it'll be out ,there have been lots of problems making copies of the original so to speak,,,if you open your hood, in the middle of your engine, surrounded in black plastic the rectangle metal piece...its reshapped ,made larger to bring in more air.this ofcourse is a simplistic description of how its made and what it does ,but it does work and it is real....just a matter of time

Only believe what you can see. What is real, what is tangible.

springtime is here and I lack a nice horsepower boost. This is getting depressing. Time to buy some exhaust so my car at least sounds faster.

Here ya go:

BTW, has Doug reported any gas mileage issues?? It seems that I went throug this last tank of fuel rather quickly with the spacer plate on the car. Oh also, after having fixed the center divider wall seal issues things seems to be much better now at all revs. But I haven't driven the car for a couple of days since there is no rubber line on the external transmission fluid lines (everyone is out of 3/8" trans cooler hose).

Dyno soon though... Any other ATL area members want to be in on a dyno session??

scalbert, can you tell me something. from the pictures it looks like your putting the unit in between the plastic intake manifold cover and the intake manifold, which doesnt make sense. can you give me a brief explanation on where/how its being mounted? thanks

This might illustrate the entire process a bit more clearly:

But no, it is not the plastic cover, it is the manifold cover plate. I made a spacer plate which basically increased the center chamber volume. That is all...

If you are unsure of the layout of the intake manifold system, refer to the following diagram:

Manifold
