Sunroof, does it not open all the way? Is this normal?

Sunroof, does it not open all the way? Is this normal?
My sunroof only opens about 3/4 of the way. It has a good amount still left. The shade even slides back more. Is this normal on our cars? I had a Maxima and it slid most of the way back. Just wondering.

i used to love goin to the beach first thing in the morning, take my shoes off, and stand on both seats with half my body sticking out of the roof of our '97 Maxima GLE, arms resting nice and comfy on the roof, watching the sun rise, listening to the waves crashing...NOT ANY MORE
