I had some nice 17 second runs. My best time was a 15.6. Wednesday I made an appointment to take a look at my VTEC controller. If it is installed correctly, I'm going to have them remove it. Mike had some good runs with his intake. His best was a 14.9. M3Sins hit 14.4, and my cousin with his stock GS-R hit a 16.3

spiroh,
SOmething wrong with your Vtech controller? Did you notice this after the track or before? Knowing what you know now were there things that happened before that might point to a bad controller?

Yeah, something is definitely up with my V-AFC. Its been doing it ever since I bought it. I dont know if its a faulty controller, bad install, or V-AFC just sucks. I do know that John who has it does nto get the same probs I do. Nobody responded to my post before if they received any problem with the V-AFC.

I was very happy to run a 14.9 with only my aem intake.

I think headers will be coming in the near future.

I was happy with my 14.4. I wanted 14.5 and got a 14.4 so no complaints. As for the conditions...

66-70 degrees (over the 3 hour period)
Medium humidity (I'd say approx. 65%)

Hey Chicago people, what's up. This is Justin (Type R). Some of you might remember me from the Addison CL meet. But anyway, Spiroh, man that time sucks. I'm pretty sure its the VFAC. Either it was installed incorrectly or untuned.

14.4___? Was it 14.41 or 14.49 or somewhere in between? Hundreths of seconds are quite important in looking at a 1/4 mile time.

How about 60' times etc.

Please post more information for comparison.

Damn Spiroh,

If the temp was in the 60's and the humidity wasn't terrible, something is seriously wrong with your car!

Nobody ever mentioned how close the track is to sea level though.

I believe it was in between (14.44 or so), I have to find the slip. I put the 14.6 slips in my car and kept the 14.4 in my pant pocket for safe keeping and so that I can show people, but seems as though my 'safe keeping' spot has lost its title because I wasn't able to find the slip this morning. I have to find that slip or I'm headed to the track again very soon to run another one!
