What gives?! My comptech drop isn't even a drop!

I just had my friend put on my comptech springs and koni shocks today, and after he put them on the front, i don't even notice a difference in height! It looks exactly the same as stock! What's going on? Does anybody have an explanation? I left the back ones stock until I can get this figured out. Any input will help. thanks.

not possible, the shock perches are spring specific.the drop isn't major but should be noticeable.

The Comptech spring should have lowered the front at least 1" to 1.25". It is a very subtle drop compared to H&R Sport.

give the springs a couple days to settle and you should see a difference.

Perhaps you should get the Tein SS coilovers...that way you can adjust the height that you want

My CL ended up (down?) 1 5/8" front and 1 1/2" rear. No system, stock shocks.

If I ever have to change the stock shocks out to KONI's, I will get the H&R springs and sell my Comptechs.

Oh i forgot to aswer your question.... I did not notice much difference either after I installed the springs.. I thought it was because of the stock shocks... but after about a month the springs settled and I can get 2 fingers inbetween my wheel well gap on the fronts.

If your car had Konis on it when you got it there is a good chance it also had springs already. The comptech drop is mild but it's definitely noticeable.

I think you just forgot how horrendous the stock front wheel gap was.

Your car shouldn't look slammed but you should have lost the SUV styling. If you can't fit your entire hand in the front wheel gap then the springs have done their job.
