Cams are not currently available. I suppose a custom grind on the stock cams would be possible.

Ported and polished. Not a new one, just modified the stock one.

who is it that does the 3.5L conversion and how much did it cost? I remember there being prices for like stage 1-2-3 along with a upgraded transmission. I did a search and couldnt find it.

because, like he said, he hasn't had the ideal track conditions that are necessary for a 13.99 pass.

Yeah, well I've heard alot of people claim their car will run X number in cooler weather, but what sometimes gets forgotten is that track conditions usually take a crap once its in the 50's.

Props to him when/if he does. I'm sure the blower will get him there easily.

edit: And I feel you cant really claim a 13 sec car if it takes a miracle pass and perfect conditions to do it, but thats just me.

and i think he knows that. and i don't think he would claim to have a solid 13 sec. car if he was able to run a 13.99 in 45 degree weather.

i've run my quickest n/a 60's ever in 50 degree weather, 2.16 & 2.17

both for 14.1 @ 99

when johntypes went 14.0 @ 100 it was ~ 35 degrees out. i believe he had sub 2.2 60's as well.

Maybe I'm just used to our shitty tracks around here. This past weekend it was ~ 55* and the track was like an icerink. I'm sure some tracks still hook well at lower temps, they just need alot of prep to keep the condensation off, and lots of vht.

only auto is typeR, and he's 3.5L

RobG hit a 13.9 in his 6mt on DR's. allmotor ran a 13.9 before the first turbo kit, then ran a 13.5 on slick between the first and second turbo kit's.

others (6mt) have run 14.0 @ 100 in normal conditions.

Sorry, but what mods did/does robg have? Its too bad more people dont post their slips in the sanctioned racing forum, it'd help alot with knowing who ran what.

The weather is looking decent this weekend

The blower goes on Oct. 20th. It's a race to see what I can manage till then. If I hit every track day possible (not including this Friday, I'm busy) that gives me 6 chances.

I don't know if that is gonna happen, or if I'll have ideal chances to run a 13.999 but I hoping.

My best ET was in 80 degree weather with a 99.9 trap. (14.1@99.9 2.11 60')

My best MPH was in 65 degree weather with a 100.68 trap, BUT I only ran 14.2 with a 2.20 60' and I banged the rev limiter on the 2 -> 3 shift. That run should have been a 14.0@100-101, MAYBE a 13.999... can't do much but speculate now.
