Sorry I'm still new at this posting,,how can I post them in the forum, I know I'm a terrible newbie... but anyways its a small metal screeen behind the grill bars I know its hard to see but I had another pic but I can't seem to post it ....

no, no trick, its just that you really can't see it I'll see if I can take a better pic, and no its not gold its a thin mesh metal screen used for screen doors and all I want it to do is to block the view of the radiator

 

The mesh is behind, the grill part, I didn't want to have the whole grill covered in it

 

um, i like the mesh better in front, but whatever you like...

 

yeah I know a lot of ppl like the mesh in the front , I just think it takes away from it... just my opinion though

 

i think the mesh up front is ugly..makes it look cheap..but to each his own

 

I don't know. I think I'd want my grill a little less shiny.
