What bulbs to get with 03 tail lights?

I ordered the tail lights off autocarparts with the amber bulbs and sockets all together. Some people have said the amber doesnt look good, so I was wondering what other options are there, colors, bulbs, etc..

well u can go with the red bulbs by Polarg or go with blue bulbs (that are hyper-white/super-white) by PIAA or Polarg

i have to check the wattage for the blinkers in the back

i have the PIAA 19225's (blue bulbs) for the backup lights, and they look awesome in the housing

I've decided on these...

They will be less noticable when off but still light up in amber to keep it in spec.

I have those bulbs for the front turn signals and they're great but are you sure you need dual filament bulbs for the rear? If so, they're a good choice.

If only a single filament amber bulb is required, the Osram Diadem bulb would be a better choice, IMO.

Well, the harness is for an 1157
but, only one of the two contact points is touching the 1157 bulb... so whats the point?

I figured this may be the easiest. I like the Visual Amber bulbs in my front signals too.

So you don't plan on using the new harness... M23 is a 7440 bulb right?

I had the taillights before the harness became available, and my girl bought the lights for me so Im not going to change them to the new harness. Its no big deal. She spent like 20 bucks for the lights shipped so Im definately using them. It was nice of her to get them for me in the first place.

I agree... with the cost of these damn bulbs you begin to stick with what you're rolling with after a while.

I made up my mind today (final) and have placed an order for the Philips SilverVision. If I shave off a notch on both bulbs I bet they will work.

Plus- I paid $20 for the set and not per bulb

anyone consider getting the red LED's instead???

o, and u don't need a dual filament bulb...serves no purpose...blinker is just a single on/off light, not like brake lights which are used for parking lights as well as braking lights

as far as the best light goes, i think the XTreme-Whites/SuperWhites will look the best...i don't think u're calling as much attention to yourself since the lights are more white than blue or blue/green...either way, people will notice u got different bulbs...i just think the blues will blend in more than the yellows or reds
