What is the best sun shield for the windshield?

What kinds of sun shields are everyone using on their CL-S's? Where did you get them and how much did they cost. Also why do you like them?

I'm using the collapsible hoop style with silver fabric on one side and black on the other side. Black side in and it keeps the interior much cooler than without. It makes the car

Once upon a time, I purchase a silver sunscreen from a Silko[sp] Acura dealership in Boston that had "A C U R A" in red letters across the front. It was cut to fit the Integra windshield exactly and I wish I had one for the CL-S. Anyone?

go to wal-mart get the double sided insulated aluminum sun shield. make sure you get the one that is like .5" thick. I have had it for 5 years still looks like new taken it from car to car. plus the insulation I think allows to block even more heat. don't get the flimsy cheap metallic ones...I think this one runs like $6-$9?
no fancy lettering or the such just works.

Fold up reflective silver colored one with the thin layer of insulation in it. Works GREAT. Mine is just barely big enough (they come in several sizes, I just took the one we had in the GrandAm).

My family has always bought custom made sunshields from a shop here in San diego called "North Coast Tarpaulin Works"... you can look them up on switchboard.com or something to get the telephone. I am pretty sure they order them, as opposed to making them in the shop, so you should be able to get them wherever you are.

As I remember they cost about $30, they have between a quarter inch and a half inch insulation, soft felt-like texture on one side and a mildly reflective material on the other. They are made for each make and model exactly to fit, they fold up nicely, and when they are on the dash they block all sun completely leaving little space between the shield and the window for air to heat up. The difference in temperature can be sometimes more than 20 degrees, even in a car without tinted windows. By far the best product I have seen, you can only do better with a car-cover!

Yes, I use the "hoop" style reflectors, but mine are silver on both sides. I have one for the front and one for the back window. They have elastic bands on them for keeping them in place in hard-to-fit windows.
