OK Folks I just wanted to pass this information onto you all, I was unaware of this (until recently, unfortunately) but MOBILE ONE WILL NOT EXCHANGE, or REFUND your money on any purchases made in the store (even if the item is in an unused, and new condition).

I have confirmed this, and it appears that after being bought out my Audio Express USA they have changed their policy. Be very forewarned that any products purchased (no matter WHAT condition) WILL BE NON REFUNDABLE!!

Their items are also nevertheless extremely overpriced and will SCREW you that way too...

Just wanted everyone to be aware of this, and not to get shafted as I did.

Mobile One Auto Sound is a moible security and sound company. I worked for them as a lead in the installation department in Slidell, LA 7-8 years ago. They were reputable back then when I worked for them, and the prices were good, and the installation was always clean and show quality.

Of course, I can't comment on all the locations, and surely can't comment on how they are today.

Well..
Chris,
They were decent, but until recently after having been bought by 'Audio Express' seems to have changed alot of their policies (ie. No refund, no return which seems to me to be completely outrageous for a 'reputable' company).

Again sorry for the unclarification, it is 'Mobile One' a car audio store based in Texas and Lousiana.

OOps I guess I could have been a little more clear, unfortunately i'm so pissed at this point. No its 'Mobile One Car Audio', needless to say (please express your opinions) but in my state of thinking I believe that if you buy something new, never open it, and have all the correct paperwork I would feel that you should be able to get a refund right (within reason).

Again all opinions are appreciated.

Ok, all opinions are welcome? Well,

1.Were you told this verbally when you made the purchase?
2.Is there a sign in plain view in the shop that clearly explains this policy?
3.Did you use a Visa/MC to make your purchase and if so, are you familiar with their rules? ...you know the agreement you have between yourself and the credit card company regarding purchase.
4.Do you know your rights as a consumer in your state (i.e. did you know that a business just can't make whatever rules it wants that are in conflict with consumer protection laws).

My guess is your answers are:
1.No
2.No
3.No/No
4.and No.

...otherwise if your return is "valid" you wouldn't have a problem or you might be going to court; either way you won't be so mad/stressed.

Edit: Always bring a unbiased, disinterested third-party into your business dealings for mediation and possible support, whenever you have even a little bit of doubt about the vendor. Your friends are called Visa/Mastercard. Get to know them, hell you're paying them....
