well i was driving normally, and all of a sudden, both the big yellow VSA light came on, and the other small VSA light came on..and stayed on..any ideas on what this could be from? it was weird..then i turned off the car, turned it back on and they went away..any ideas?

my '01 CL-S did that to me today but i was racing and my start was beutiful and all of a sudden i saw them turn on... i didnt have the VSA off when i was gonna race tho... i dont know why

 

Mine did that before my transmission went out. It happened immediately though. It could just be a bad sensor or something.

 

not all the lights came on, only those two..its going to the dealer tomarrow..

 

my vsa light would turn on every now & then and i took it in and they said a fuse was loose...after they put a new one in, it was ok

 

That happened to my wife in our '01. The car then wouldn't shift out of 1st. She thought she wrecked something, let it sit for a while, and when I drove it, it was fine. I took it in, and the computer logged bad tranny solenoids. (Drove it for a week until they got the parts, and it seemed fine!?!?!). They swapped the solenoids, and when we traded it on our '03 8 months later, it still hadn't happened again.

Take it in. The diagnostics should be able to read out the cause.

 

My 2002 did this several weeks ago,along with the abs light.They stayed on,and wouldn't reset. Dealer replaced the Vsa control unit
