Volkswagen 1.8T
I was on Holcomb Bridge Rd Friday on my way home and I saw this Red 1.8T whipping around in traffic behind me. He ran up beside me as we approached a light, but couldn't line up with me because a landscape truck blocked him.
After the light turns, he whips around the truck, and gets beside me for the next light, which is 100 feet from the last one. (F'n Holcomb Bridge
) I'm thinking about stuff from work and not really in the mood for a race, but then I say WTF why not.
He jumps the light (I can see him eyeballing the yellow for the other folks) and takes off with a tire chirp. I wait a half-second for the light to go green, and catch him before I hit second gear. Second gear barks the tires, and I see him fading back. I wind out second; hit third and then realize I should not be doing 80 on this road. I flip the shifter back to auto-mode and coast down to a reasonable 60 mph. Guess what he does next....

Yea, 80 MPH on Holcomb Bridge could get you in a bit of trouble. Not only with the Police but with the people who decide to turn without looking for traffic. But I have to admit I've done that also...

It was still with Roswell's Jurisdiction so definitely not a good idea to be doing 80.
I was born in Marietta (Kennestone Hospital), and grew up by Kennestone Mt. Went to Due West Elem., then moved to Alpharetta/Roswell area and went to Milton HS.

Chicken your so right, I've driven a few CLS's, and it is a nice car, but for the money its alot for the over all power/speed/conering
compared to a GTI. I've got $23000.00 w/car and mods and can beat alot o' cars bigger and smaller. I dont hate, I just get bugged by uninformmed people.
And as far as anyone in NOVA, I'm game.
Chicken your so right, I've driven a few CLS's, and it is a nice car, but for the money its alot for the over all power/speed/conering
compared to a GTI. I've got $23000.00 w/car and mods and can beat alot o' cars bigger and smaller. I dont hate, I just get bugged by uninformmed people.

I'm on here for the same reson you are something to kill the time at work, have some fun. If someone gets pissed, sorry, I'm just playing. I love cars, all cars, 2dr, 4dr, big motor, little motor.
every car has good points and bad, I know what my cars limits are and I'm fine with them. But alot of people race a 90' DX 4spd and think "I'm the sh!t". If some guy runs a stock 00' 1.8T and spanks him, WOW! I really could care, but some people think its a weak car and thats who I'm aimin' for!
