Very nice. I like the nearly stock exhaust note. It doesnt sound to tinny. I like the lightweight flywheel, the engine revs quicker. I cant wait to tear down mine and rebuild it with some more goodies.

And Im assuming the eBay auction said they were Spoon headers?

The little tag welded to them says they're spoon (Of course they're not) but anyone familiar with the J series is like - WHOA - DOOD!

ClutchMasters uses the AASCO flywheel, it comes as a whole kit. The clutch ranges in price. I think he said he got his for $1100 on eBay.

Bearings, disc, plate and wheel all come as the clutchmasters stage package - stage 1 for 1100 on Ebay - though Clutchmasters does sell direct.

Lemme get some in-car vids to show how it runs. It can be a little lurchy when it's cold in the low rpm range - but this is more the ECU hunting for the right fuel magic me-thinks.

Must be that flywheel.
When I rev my idle dips back below 1K but then dances a little up & down then settles at 750ish.
I also don't hear any valve or fuel injector ticking. Unless the cam didn't pick it up.
Sounds good.

My idle did the same thing.

I was thinking the same thing about the ticking. Brand new J series tick
