And did you get that FIRST survey ? If so, you didn't mention that the jerks at the lousey dealership screwed me out of a valet key ? The salemans didn't walk you thru all the manuals, keys, codes etc.....shame on them and you ! REPORT THAT DEALERSHIP TO ACURA CUSTOMERS RELATIONS AT 1-800-382-2238.

Definetly report that dealership!! They should have gone over every bit of the info on the keys and manual and such. and yes go back and get your key. My dealer went over everything(to the point of redundancy).

DAMMIT!! I got gypped!!

I did get a survey, but I was too busy writting an ESSAY complaining about the way I was treated by the finance guy at the dealership. And I swore I will not step into that dealership every again in my life. So I ain't gonna call them for a stupid key.

I don't think I'll ever leave my car for a valet anyway. If I change my mind, I'll go to another dealer and buy one.

Randy,
Calm down.....Now these keys are just not regular keys from the old days. I don't think you can walk into any dealership to fetch that computer chip key ! Now, if you ripped a hole at that dealership and don't feel comfortable confronting them, then that what P H O N E 'S are for ! Call them and have them mail it to you. SURVEY's are to better the performance at the dealerships, so people like you and I don't get screwed without lube ! Acura Customer Relations is the lube dude ! How can they correct problems if you don't complain ? It's called communications !
Best to you !
P.S. you paid 30K+, get your fucking key !

I doubt if the survey does much. I gave the dealer the worst ratings in regards to their finance department. I even attached a complaint letter to the survey and cc'ed it to Acura Customer Relations. All I got is a letter back from ACR saying they are looking into the matter, but can't do much because dealers aren't under their control and shit like that. I was expected at least an apology from the dealership, but I didn't get jack shit from them.

Anyway, thanks for the advice bro.

Like they say.. Everyone complained about the finance dept. (That's the latest way they make extra money). Call your sales guy
he still loves you, and get a key! It's a no brainer..

You should be able to go to any Acura Dealership an get a key for your car.
I dont believe that they can mail the key to you. I think they have to have your car there to program the transponder chips in the keys.

Make sure you take both your original car keys with you, they might need them too. There are cars that you have to have both original keys to have anymore keys made. If you loose one of the originals and want another, they have to reprogram the receiver in the car and the new keys. THEY WILL CHARGE YOU AN ARM AND A LEG FOR THIS! So, dont loose your original keys!
