I know this is old, but I never tried the B Map until today.

I had the chip out for a while, had to bring it to the dealership. I decided to re-install it this morning. I tried both A and B Maps. I did not have any issues with either. No rough ideal, CELs, etc...

The car seems to run great on both of them. Will the B Map hurt. I run 93 octane.

Please let me know your opinion.

Thanks. I am assuming that you have never had any trouble with it? What octane gas do you run?

 

Both maps were too lean to make a difference in performance anyways. The ECU retards timing and basically negates any changes the UniChip made. Although, fuel economy will increase.
