UH-OH Starting to get Tranny Problems

Well slap my ass and call me agressive,

Sure I drive hard, but shouldn't the car be able to take it?

Well the problems i am having is when shifting from 2nd to 3rd. Its sticks in second then shoots to third leaving a nice jump, or when downshifting from 3rd to 2nd. Think this is normal? or should I have the dealer take a look. Only reason I don't want anyone to look at is, if htere is a problem, I'll be without my car for a while.

What do you think I should do?

Jonathan.

Get it checked NOW! You will need a new one so you should just get on the list NOW.

How long does it take to get a new Transmission if it is bad, and how long do the repairs take.

I just went yesterday and they ordered 1 for me.....they first said it should take 3-4 days...but that was b4 they ordered it. I called them back and they said I was # 56 on the list but he still didnt think it would take too long. They told me to call tomarow and he will have a better guess on how long. I would go and have them look at it and see if you can get them to order 1 now and then hopefuly your car will last till it comes in.

Yep, that happened to mine before it went out. Good luck! And if you're going to be driving around like that, wear your seat belt, because the car will begin doing it very unexpectedly which can be dangerous if you're in traffic.

Yeah I was on my way to Acura yesterday and it was real bad. I was going about 65 on I-10 and If I gave it gas like to get over or try to pass someone...it would just sit there and rev like I had it in N. I guess from the time I felt the first slip it took about 2.5 to 3 weeks for it to be this bad. Go get it checked NOW...if yours is acting funny it WILL go out.
