At a meet i went to for RSXs there was a turbo rsx with built motor.It has 310 whp and 235wtq. We usually cruise to a place where we can race. Two people raced before us. This guy wanted to race his car and i figured i had the best chance of keeping up with him since the 0ther 10 RSXs that were there didnt have much done to them. so me and this guy go race. We start and I get a good jump on him and then we were going for about an 1/8th of a mile before we had to slow down mainly because this guy in an armada was driving by and slowed down by where everyone was stainding and got on his phone. I saw the guy slow down and we were running out of road soon, but could of gone a little longer, is why i slowed as we pass the camera. If we did keep going I would have definatly got beaten.

But I thought I did very well.

wow, very close that guy must suck at driving....

also with a built motor he should be able to run more boost why is he still at 300hp ?

Well its not completly built but a few things but the reason it is built is that the stock internals blew at 10 or 12 psi. He said hes going to end up making it have moe boost. He might just be a little hesitant since his last engine couldn't handle it. He has some cluth work done to it so its very hard to feather it and he also hasnt had alot of chances to learn how to launch it that well. the guy is really cool he even let me drive it, and yes it was a very difficult to drive. I stalled it when I 1st tried to go.

 

He has about 100 more whp, your car is hell of a lot heavier than his and he is manuel. Ummm...he must definitely not have that whole stick thing figured out.

what kind of turbo set up does that guy have you know? My buddy just put a cybernation stage 1 kit in his rsx recently with oversized intercooler..its such a beast!

300whp should be good enough for 12's (on street tires), even if he was a horrible driver youd be able to hear him spin tires through all the gears....it must be that texas heat :P

 

I know he should of beat me next time we meet to race im gonan try to get him to let me race me but ill be driving his car and hell be driving mine. I know he should of beaten my by alot but im still proud i did as well as i did. LIke i said he ahsnt had very many chances to elarn how to launch and his clutch is very difficult. He has a cybernation III, i think most of the kit is custom. He ahs alot of other stuff done to it also.

 

damn that nuts a cybernation stage 3? I thought the stage iii should be making more than 300 to the wheels. My buddy's with the stage 1 already makes that much with mild boost.
