Nice to see that this will definitely put us in the Cobra/C-5,6 category. This is very exciting just don't blow it up. It will be awesome at the 8-9lbs.

Very nice work Allmotor.

Why build one when you can build two at twice the price?
Here is the 'other' CL. I mounted the intercooler today
This is the intercooler:

As always, that is looking great.

One question though, what all had to be moved to get the FMIC in. Did the horn need to be relocated?? And what about that "thing" on the back of the bumber, that big hunk of metal bolted up for some unknown reason??

I relocated the horn and the air temp sensor to underneath the passenger headlight, pushed back the A/C line, moved the A/C drier over a little and yes, removed that NVH Damper? and cut/grinded off the mounts that held it in. Allmotor didn't have to grind his because his has different mounts to hold it in for some reason. The IC actually fit in really well... like Acura had it in mind when they were designing the front end!

Cool, thanks.

I'm going to go to a larger heat exchanger (I beleive a VW radiator) for my liquid/air IC and wanted to confirm what I already thought.

It's interesting how my front vibration dampener (NVH ?!?) was mounted quite differently from
BlueCLS6's. In the end it all looks the same with the bumper on!

I still can't figure out that big hunk of metal. How much was spent on that design and testing it.

I assume you feel no difference without it??

Allmotor and Blue, those two cars are fawking awesome. Much respect to you two and Scalbert for all this insanely cool modding to these cars. When I buy a 6mt, I'm taking out n additional loan to get a turbo and I'll drive that puppy out to Cali to have all this shit done. Deal ?

Damn, I assume these were standard injectors?? Is it height or is the o-ring portion diffferent??

Please do keep us up to speed on this and thanks...

The height is off and the bottom part (tip) is too wide (by about 1mm) to fit into the injector boss - let me see what RC has to say. I will still install the kit w/o them.

RC Engineering now tells me that they don't offer injectors for our car. 5 months back when I was ordering these things they said they DID offer injectors for our car... what a bunch of morons! If I don't find anybody else offering injectors we have to try AIC as the other option.

I remember Accell offering injectors for Honda applications before. Have you tried them??

We may need to get an extra unit to have sent off.

Yup, I will try Accel and might get one injector to send around these folks - a pain!

Well, RC just e-mailed me back saying I have to 'modify my fuel rail' to make the injectors fit - they don't even slide into the injector boss!!

If we don't find suitable injectors, then an additional injector might be the only solution here...

http://go.mrgasket.com/pdf/Accelcat.pdf

Go to page PDF page 232 (Catalog Page 230).

If this doesn't work than we may need to look into some Bosch units. I don't remember what ours look like.

You didn't happen to take a picture of one while it was out??

The problem is that most replacement units are probably 260cc (like Accel)... not 310, 370 etc.

Great job on the turbo...have there been any internal mods, steel rods, forged pistons? Just how much can the JA32A take? It may handle a few blasts but something has to give at some point it seems. Love the work and R/D, awesome job guys.
