Turbo?

I havn't seen any turbo chargers for the CL -S out there. I was wondering if they have them in Japan? If not a Turbo than a supercharger.

Thanks

there are some supercharger kits in the works. all the turbos i've seen are completely custom.

i have heard LOW estimates for the supercharger. like 50-60 hp. RES should get like 20-25, and mm2 would prolly be like 15. so, you should be around 85 additional hp.

the res cant work for the 3.0 because the manifold is different.

Your still looking at minimal gains... Because:

1) Super/Turbo: both pressurize the intake manifold.. peak hp & tq will not be bumped significantly by the RES for the simple fact under boost the absolute manifold pressure should be *relatively* constant .. minimal gains if any there...

2) MMII : Modifies the IAT sensor.. again under boost your intake charge will heat up and the timing advance from tricking the ECU into thinking the charge is colder/hotter may cause a lean condition / detonation... **bad**

So in all.... if the gains from MMII & RES are aggregate they are a more cost effective solution to a Supercharger but I dont think they will work well at all in addition to a Super/Turbo...

Then is that why comptech is making the supercharger for the clp which doesn't have a intake manifold like the cls??
