1) Super/Turbo: both pressurize the intake manifold.. peak hp & tq will not be bumped significantly by the RES for the simple fact under boost the absolute manifold pressure should be *relatively* constant .. minimal gains if any there...
2) MMII : Modifies the IAT sensor.. again under boost your intake charge will heat up and the timing advance from tricking the ECU into thinking the charge is colder/hotter may cause a lean condition / detonation... **bad**
So in all.... if the gains from MMII & RES are aggregate they are a more cost effective solution to a Supercharger but I dont think they will work well at all in addition to a Super/Turbo...
