I'm looking into different 6-speed transmission options. I have a j32 CL-S auto and I hate the transmission. Is the 03 CL type-S 6 speed trans our only option?

What about a J35 6-speed mated to the J32?

Would you have to use a J35 block etc. to get this to work?

Does anyone make transmission adapter plates?

 

People usually use 6MT's from the 03 CL-S or 3G TL, both of which have LSD. Or the 7thgen Accord (non LSD). These all bolt onto your J32a2.

And yes, the 6-speed transmission from the J35A8 in the '07-'08 Acura TL Type-S will only work with the newer generation blocks. It will not bolt up.
