I like them, they are fast as shit (M3 fast), doesn't look much different than a C320 Sport- little more aggressive, so its not the showiest 4door around. Also think that the C32 along with the SLK32 should be offered with a manual tranny.

Other than that, I think its nice and would obviously take one any day over an Acura CL.

I fell in love with the while reading the specs and reading all the propoganda. I went to the philly auto show and sat inside. Let me tell you . If you think the BMW 3 series is a small car then what till you side inside the C32. For a car that's 50k plus and four doors there isn't much room in the front or the back. Interior looks cheap. I was sorely disappointed.

I test drove the C32 a few months ago and told the sales person I thought my CL-S was more fun. I even got to get on it off the line against a pickup truck with salesperson in passenger seat. The only thing I did like about it was how quiet it was inside, almost like being in a fish bowl or sound free chamber. I posted my test drive on this forum but can't find it now where am getting a server error. Do a search on C32 AMG later.

I'm waiting for the 2003 new style E55 AMG with a 460hp Supercharged V8. If this cars numbers are
anywhere near the SL55 AMG's which probably weights 500 lbs. more that the E55, I'll be real happy.

See this link for the SL55 AMG numbers

You didn't think the car was too small for a four door? I was expecting it to be bigger than an A4

If 4 doors is not a requirement, I would look at an M3 SMG.

A roomy 4 door - 540.

A smaller 4 door - C32 AMG.

They are all in the 55-60k range, depending on options.

As a matter of fact I did think it was small, a little larger than the A4. When I test drove the new 3.0 A4 a while back it reminded me of my Mazda Miata for space in the front seats.

While sitting in the back seat of the C32, I noticed that Mercedes has sculptured into the back of the front seat two large grooves where your knees can tuck in to give you a little more leg room.

I really like the feel of the size of the CL-S. The C32 just felt a little too small and light not giving me that true luxury feeling. I also wish the exhaust sounded a little meaner for a 4.5 - 4.7 0-60 car.

One of my first visits after getting the E55 will be to this place:

For any other CL-S owners planning to move "up" to this level (c-32, amg, etc.), I am planning on moving "up" to a used CL-S around mid-year. I'm in L.A. so a West Coast car would be ideal. Let me know.
