my car is at the dealership right now getting a new tranny (i get it back on monday) and i'm gonna print this stuff out, and have them fix a few things. well just the moon roof sqeeking, and the seatbelt tensioner

somebody should sticky this thread :P
This is pretty funny. I was driving with my sunshade open, for the first time in about a year, last night. I complained to the girlfriend about the squeak. She thought I was stupid. I am glad that they know about it. Does anyone know exactly how they fix it?

Some words of advice about bulletins. These things exist solely to provide service departments with information and instructions on how to correct common problems while the vehicle in question is under warranty. If you elect to print this list out and present it to your dealership with instructions that basically say fix all this stuff you may be surprised to find out that just because the bulletin does exist does not mean it will apply to your car. Some reasons why are as follows, the problem does not exist on your car nor was it confirmed to exist by dealer personel, the bulletin was already completed previously.Bulletins are published as an aid to the service department but they should never be viewed as recalls for instance.A recall is a repair that is required to be done regardless of wether the problem it corrects exists in your vehicle or not,a bulletin is merely directions for common problems that may exist for which there is a known cure.So if you see a problem that is covered by a bulletin by all means tell your dealer about it ,but if you see a bulletin and your car does not exhibit the problem then they will most likely not do anything.Jens

Do NOT apply anything to the belt ,no lubricants no starch and only clean them per the instructions in your owners manual. These belts as far as I have seen require some help from you to retract.Virtually all of the CL's I have seen are the same in this respect.I do not much like it either but this is apparently the way they are engineered so please NO fooling around with this most vital piece of safety equipment in your car.Jens
