Took My 6 spd to the track!!

Well..i finally did this sunday....weather was good...bout 77 degrees
reaction time...0.55
1/4 mile 14.6

My car is all stock and i finally have learned to do decent launch.
I was happy and satisfied...Car and driver quoted a 14.5 and at first that kinda looked hard as all others i hear do 15s..

Anyways...maybe with header and intake i can do low 14s??

I want to take mine to the track. I put on an AEM intake and wow, you can tell a difference, especially the way it sounds after 5000 rpm when the intake opens up, i also added Eibach springs as well. Does yours still spin the tires going into 2nd at full throttle? I want to try to avoid that when I race. Also, did you do a burnout?

i think you can drop it to like a 14.3-4 if you run it a few more times(stock)

Not yet but i was wondering, why get 8" wheels if every just puts 225's on them? i've seen 235's on 8" wheels but not all of them. so why get a 8" wheel when you can get a lighter 7.5" wheel with the same tires?

I should start a new thread!

it was real good launch...wheelspined but no hoping!!

i let her go at bout 2000 rpm i think..my other runs were 14.8 14.9
kept her below the dreaded 15 i kept thinking bout.

thanks for the replies...this has really encouraged me to put some mods in this baby cuz all the money spent on my v6 accord coupe didnt help much with my times.~~
