I just got my car tinted with metallic film, but ever since i got it tinted the view on my rear glass is distorted. At night the lights from other cars seem to have a halo effect and the line etched on the rear window seem to bounce off light. Is this a bad tint job or are u guys having similar experiences? which tint film and what % did u use.

 

I have that too. But I've just gotten used to it. They used Metallic Madico 20% on my rear. The tint job itself is pretty clean. I think they did a good job. But dunno why the halos show up on the defroster lines

 

happens on tinted cars... I learned this too. Especially noticeable on thicker defroster lines.
The benefit is privacy and shade though...

Its normal. I have a 35 llumar tint and I get the same thing. You get used to it.
