Due to high demand by a lot of you CLer's, the fader tint on my car is coming off this Monday, September 25th, 2006. 15% black on the sides and 10% black on the rear.

Please keep in mind when I bought the car it came like that...so I have no idea who installed it. I know it looks :ghey: . Trust me, you guys aren't the only people who've complained about it. Everybody I know has complained too .

I've been bitched at plenty and now it's finally coming off! Besides, the fader tint wouldn't match the Servo's I'm going to put on soon.

At least it's getting done though! I'll post pics when it does get done...(crybabies....lmao ).

 

Keep us posted on this. I want to know how the rear window does with the defroster lines after removing the tint. This is what's preventing me from getting the 15% I want. The car's too light for me.(came that way also)

I was going to have mine re-tinted a while back because I wanted the rears changed. They were tinted when I got the car, and the guy did a pretty good job, but I wanted to get it done to cover the top and the third brake lamp area. The only thing that stopped me was when the shop I took it to said that they would want me to take the rear off my self because they were concerned with the defroster.

The guy I know will do the entire rear window and not just 95% of it. I had him do the top portion. If you look at one of my photos in the pic section you'll notice 0% black vinyl taking up 5% of the rest of the top window...he did a really good job!

-Busting my balls for my car is good criticism because I didn't think I would get it redone. I'm super excited when it all comes together.
