I'm having my car looked at on friday. It's not running right. I made some gtech runs and my times are way off and the tach isn't screaming to red line like it used to.

After it gets fixed you're on!

The last 2 tanks I filled up with Chevron (had been running Unocal for months) so she might not be too happy about that. I'm going to have them check the headers and make sure they're seated correctly. I looked at them and they appear ok but you never know. Last oil change was 2k miles ago so I doubt that's it.
14.2 huh? I'll need a CAI asap!!!

Actually...I went to Cheveron for a while because the Shell stations around me were having troubles. It isn't all that bad...car still runs really smooth..and for some reason when I filled up with 76 the other day, my car is a little rougher.

T, a friend told me it's good to change your gasoline stations every 5k miles. The different detergents will clean each other out. He rx'd this information from a chemical engineer.

Scott, I've heard that Chevron is one of the better gases out there according to some studies the industry has done.

worse comes to worse I'll get some 103 octate to combat that NOS!!

Mike: That is pretty interesting...I never heard of changing stations after 5k. Is it bad to change after every other tank? I mean...2 tanks with cheveron, then 2 tanks with shell...etc?

CLpower: Come on...103 octane...at least give them a chance Fill up with 100
