Time for changing brakes

My brakes are squeeking when I brake. What do I need to change and who can recommended me to a shop in the bay area. What brand should I get and the cost of brake and installation?

when u said brakes, did u meant rotors? or pads?

Pads are probably down to nothing, unless it only happens after the car sits, then it could be some rust built up and it squeaks till it comes off. It depends on the quality of products you want to get as to how much you wil spend, you can go cheap and regret it, or go expensive and get a good product and great stopping.

Thanks guys.... Which brand of pads and rotors should I get. How much would that be and any shops you guys can recommend me to? I live in the bay area.

If you can afford it, check out the group buy on the Rotora big brake kit. It's awesome and the price is very good !!

Thanks, I saw that already.. just want something better that oem. What do you guys have? I don't want to spend too much.

Just get some cross drilled or slotted replacements and some Axxis Metalmasters. Less than $300.
