Those with sound system.

I am planning on getting a 10 inch or 12 inch sub with amp. I will be running the stock bose deck for awhile. Just wondering brand should i use for both subs and amp and what should i run for the amps 150? 300? 600?

I'm using the 12" Alumapro. It uses between 250-450watts. But it kicks like 2 12's. Hey can't be bad if StreetEffectz uses them

yeah, if u got the dough!
nice sub/amp combo.... probably the best buy for your buck if you have a few extra dollars to throw around...
i chose to go with JL W3s (2 10") with the Rockford amps... i woulda gone with the JL 500/1 amp, but.... i just couldn't afford it... my whole system retails for well over $2,600, i got everything at cost for about $1,500 installed. perks of my job i guess.

I love how you guys just start throwing out brands and models before you ever find out what kind of music the guy listens to.

You'd all have a great career at Circuit City and Best Buy.

So, what kind of music do you like to listen to?
Are you concerned about saving space in your trunk?
Are you planning to upgrade the front and/or rear speakers any time soon?

NSXNEXT, what do you feel are nice sounding, dependable brands for SQL? (subs, speakers, amps). Any brand to avoid?

I had some orion speakers that did not last 3 years, gone through some amps to (rockford and clarion). Everything was pro-installed. I don't mind spending the money, if I can get 4-5+ years out of it. Too much wishful thinking?

BTW, I was looking at ...

amps: Helix, JL, Arc, Directed,
speakers: I need to visit some delaers and listen. Nothing bright.
subs: sealed enclosure, need to hear a few
