Cool for those that did the 5 speed AT to 6 speed swap

for those that did the 5 speed AT to 6 speed swap ??

what happens to the VSA ?? do u guys take it off ??
is it still functional if left on there ???

i just wanted to know the diff in a factory 6 speed i.e 03's & a swapped out Auto for manual.

You remove the VSA throttle body and you no longer have VSA. The CLS6 speed tranny have LSD (limited Slip Differential). There will be no difference in a factory 6speed and a swapped 6speed if you do it correctly

I don't think so. A few accords & TL's I've seen. I don't remember a CLS being swapped.

ok what if u do not remove it ?? that means it shud work theoretically rght ??
Unless installing the manual transmission into the car requires u to remove the VSA throttle body b4 it will fit or work ( which i highly doubt)

You need the ECU from the manual car for the swap. That doesn't have anything built in for VSA so you can't use it.

got u , i did nt know the processing of the VSA was build into the ECU.
but it makes sense frm that point of view.
