I am thinking of getting rid of it
as i rare drive it..bought it at AUG ,2000..paid in full
and now it has less than 22k miles..
only drove about 1000 miles for the last entire year..
it is been sitting in the garage and value depreciating...
i am planning sell it to private party soon
just some thoughts...

as i do not need an extra vehicle now
...

I'm thinking the exact same thing but I'm at 71K. I've put a total of 100 miles on it in the past 2.5 months and that was only by making a point of using the car periodically. I live downtown and only use a car to make trips to target or home depot in the suburbs. Also, the roads here are so rough that it doesn't make driving very fun with the CL--unless you like bouncing all over the place. I also did some calculations this weekend and figure that by averaging out the car payment, the monorail tax, the cost of registration, the insurance, the gas, the maintenance, and the cost of parking every month I can save between $750 and $1,000.00 a month. That's mighty significant.

 

If your not using it,it makes sense to sell it. Or give it to someone who can use it.

You shouldn't have a problem selling it.

Post in Black Market here on ACL, I'm sure there are some non CL owners on the board that you may convince to buy a garaged kept CL.
