Those are real cars. The GT40 and the new Mustang GT. As well as a Cobra Roadster.
The Ford Motor Co. (as well as Mazda, Nissan, Toyota, Lexus, and others) has their designing HQ in my town, so it's exciting to see a lot of prototype cars (with chasers) run around on the street. A saw a new design Mustang about 1.5-2 years ago on the road to work, and it's still not out.
